Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Strategy Services

In light of recent tragedy, the construction sector has now become more focused than ever on implementing fire safety and fire safety engineering in building design.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it is essential that building owners/those responsible for buildings and those that use them, ensure that their building is safe in respect of fire.

A fire risk assessment is a necessary audit of a building that should be completed on a frequent basis (usually annually or after works have been completed/damage has been recorded at a building). We have a team of trained fire risk assessors and knowledgeable surveying personnel experienced in completing risk assessments, specifying fire safety repairs and implementing fire safety and fire engineering principles during a development.

We have in house personnel vetted by the RICS in respect of fire safety competence for additional peace of mind.

We are members of the Fire Protection Association and have trained and qualified fire risk assessors. This experience and knowledge best places us to deliver fire strategy advice and review for new build or refurbishment projects in addition to undertaking a traditional fire risk assessment.

We have been heavily involved in fire risk assessments on in excess of 400 sheltered housing and care home schemes in the north of England in the last 2 years for a major housing care provider. We have also been appointed for numerous businesses to conduct fire risk assessments of offices/industrial buildings and we increasingly gaining appointments to provide fire engineering services at inception of a development and during a construction phase period.

This experience gives us the ability to deliver a seamless fire risk assessment and review service and that we are experienced in all aspects of construction and the ability to inspect it.
