We were instructed by our client to investigate and report on the cause of cracking to the external and internal walls of this 1960’s extension. We highlighted some potential causes of the cracking which included defective drainage and inadequate foundations. Following opening up works we were able to conclude that the cause of the cracking was due to inadequate foundations and as such we were able to recommend a suitable repair.
