We were pleased to have had the opportunity to survey a Grade II Listed building set in the beautiful back drop of County Durham. In this case, there were various aspects of the building and grounds that were listed, requiring special attention.
Heritage assets such as these require special consideration and care when the conservation of such historical buildings and structures are concerned. Our Managing Director Chris Jude is one of the few surveyors in the country to hold an RICS Conservation Accreditation, offering specialist knowledge and expertise to such surveys that would otherwise not be possible.
Our in-depth and comprehensive surveys allow us to identify a wide range of aspects of such buildings that are important for our client to have an in-depth understanding of, before proceeding with a purchase.
We were able to add a further degree of analysis to our investigations in this case, through the utilisation of our Civil Aviation Approved Pilot. Roofs of large historic buildings can contain defects difficult to identify from ground level, or that are totally concealed from ground level due to the age, height and composition of pitches.
If you have any questions relating to a Level 3 Surveys, Heritage Assets, Listed Buildings or Characterful Properties we would be happy to discuss howe we are able to assist you in achieveing the best possible results in the sympathetic manner that such buildings require.
