Building Surveyors Limited were appointed to gain planning consent, prepare contract documentation and administer a building contract for the construction of a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at a Primary Academy in Blyth.
The works involved converting an existing area of tarmac hardstanding and under used garden area into a colourful, safe sports area for children.
Our services included obtaining Planning Permission on behalf of the Academy, which is a legal, statutory requirement before carrying out the works. Administering the construction contract, which includes managing valuation/payment procedures and completion certification. And project monitoring which means the project was overseen with an experienced eye for detail to ensure the construction of the MUGA was in accordance with specifications and to the clients’ requirements.
