Our client wished to erect a new extension within their own property grounds which abutted a party wall. This enabled The Party Wall etc Act 1996 and we were appointed to act as the Building Owners Party Wall Surveyor.
Through appropriate Administration, Notice Serving and Inspections, Building Surveyors Limited allowed a planned course of action to prevent a dispute arising between the two owners of the party wall. A successful consent was obtained through acting within the laws and in a timely manner which enabled site mobilisation to coincide with the project programme.
