Senior surveyor shortlisted for prestigious RICS award

December 19, 2017

Congratulations to senior chartered surveyor, Sam Piplica, who was shortlisted for a coveted national award at this year’s RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year Awards.

Sam was shortlisted in the Building Surveying category, in recognition of his expertise in advising on, and delivering, a wide range of complex built projects including office fit-outs and new build residential units on time and on budget.

He was shortlisted with 90 other young surveyors from all over the UK and was just one of two entrants to make the list from the North East.

Commenting, Sam said: “I’m thrilled to receive recognition of my career achievements to date. Working at Building Surveyors Ltd has provided me with so many opportunities for career development and I can’t thank the team enough for their support.”

Chris Jude, director at Building Surveyors Ltd, added: “Sam is an accomplished senior chartered surveyor and it’s great to see that his hard work and dedication to his career has been acknowledged by such a prestigious organisation. He is a great asset to our team and is a shining example of the expertise we have in place to deliver a range of building surveying services.”

The RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year Awards launched four years ago to raise awareness of the diverse range of young talented surveyors, trainees and apprentices working in such areas – aged 35 and under – who are helping to shape and improve the communities we live in.
